Hungry Worming

A worm grows while eating certain objects situated on the screen, besides, it can spit with some green substance which can stop or destroy the enemy.

The main enemies of the worm are ants. Ants are trying to tear the worm apart. It happens usually in the following way: an ant runs out from the side part of the map, grabs one of the balls the worm consists of and tries to drag this ball off the screen. While the ant with the ball is still on the screen, the worm can try to intercept it and get the part of its body back. To achieve this it has to spit upon the ant, after this action the ant turns over onto its back and for some time cannot move any part of its body but legs. At this very moment the worm can eat it and thus add one more ball to its body.

Apart from ants, the worm can also meet dung-beetles throwing their balls into the worm, spiders and other insects on its way, each of which tries to prevent the worm from getting to the end of the level.

The game has several levels divided into different worlds. The beauty of each world is underlined with different trifles, for instance, falling leaves.

Insects constitute only a part of the worm's problems on a difficult way to the end of the level. In addition to insects, treacherous stones rolling across the road and threatening to crush its body are waiting for the worm as well as pits in which the worm may fall.

Different bonuses like speed acceleration, enemy freeze, a stronger poison or an earthquake which turns all the ants on the screen upside down, bring a slight relief into the worm’s life.
